Description
Nestled in the stunning Blue Ridge Mountains, our two championship golf courses, Apple Valley and Bald Mountain, wind through the scenic landscape of Rumbling Bald on Lake Lure. Both courses, each boasting a Golf Digest four-star rating, are meticulously maintained for top-tier play and offer year-round opportunities to enjoy breathtaking mountain and lake views.
Designed by renowned architect Dan Maples, Apple Valley Golf Course opened in 1986 and has been dubbed one of the most beautiful mountain courses by Golf Digest’s “Places to Play.” Featuring wide fairways and large, undulating greens, Apple Valley’s layout takes you through the serene valley, ascends toward Youngs Mountain, and then leads you back down to a picturesque finish. Many golfers leave saying the back nine is among the most scenic they’ve ever played. With a layout that caters to all skill levels, Apple Valley is truly a hidden gem in Western North Carolina.
